TITLE Open Conductor Neutral Fault Detection and Mitigation Using Voltage Transformer
ABSTRACT Open Conductor Neutral Fault (floating wire fault) happens due to open conductor fault at source side. Neutral fault detection using voltage transformer (VT) is employed for 440 volt, 3 phase 4 wire system. This paper deals with the development of tripping circuit to detect the above fault in low cost and efficient for connected load using voltage transformer followed by Atmega 16 microcontroller. The controller has been programmed using Micro C AVR software which reduce tripping time than analog base tripping circuit. The voltage transformer measures voltage during fault and measured voltage signal sent to rectifier. Then rectifier sends the converted DC signal to the microcontroller. Microcontroller compares that signal with reference value and send tripping signal in the form of binary one or zero to contactor.

TITLE Load-Balancing Multipath Switching System With Flow Slice
ABSTRACT Multipath Switching systems (MPS) are intensely used in state-of-the-art core routers to provide terabit or even petabit switching capacity. One of the most intractable issues in designing MPS is how to load balance traffic across its multiple paths while not disturbing the intraflow packet orders. Previous packet-based solutions either suffer from delay penalties or lead to hardware complexity, hence do not scale. Flow-based hashing algorithms also perform badly due to the heavy-tailed flow-size distribution. In this paper, we develop a novel scheme, namely, Flow Slice (FS) that cuts off each flow into flow slices at every intraflow interval larger than a slicing threshold and balances the load on a finer granularity. Based on the studies of tens of real Internet traces, we show that setting a slicing threshold of 1-4 ms, the FS scheme achieves comparative load-balancing performance to the optimal one. It also limits the probability of out-of-order packets to a negligible level (10−6) on three popular MPSes at the cost of little hardware complexity and an internal speedup up to two. These results are proven by theoretical analyses and also validated through trace-driven prototype simulations.

TITLE EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT: UNLOCKING THE KEY TO ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE ORGANISATIONS
ABSTRACT “Engaged employees”, the foundations of profitable organizations. Employee engagement has emerged as a major area of focus in HR these days. As more and more companies work with a global workforce, Employee engagement had drawn attention and interest among employers. Employee engagement constitutes the core competence of a successful and sustainable organization. It is linked to important organizational issues like retention, productivity and satisfaction. In today’s highly volatile business scenario, one of the major challenges that corporate leaders face is sustaining high level of performance over the long term and obtaining superior business results. Despite the negative headlines of employee layoffs and cost cutting due to recessesion, organizations are still functioning. Organizations that protect their people assets will come out of this stronger and increase chances of sustaining amid volatile business conditions. Increasing pressure on organizations to retain its top-performers who contribute significantly towards organizations growth has further highlighted the role of employee engagement as a tool for retention. It is important to maintain employee morale during downturn, there is a noticeable decline in morale in the past several months. This study aims at understanding employee engagement and its importance in modern organizations. Further it analyses the strategies that can be used for employee engagement to improve workforce satisfaction and organizational performance.
